Rcc Hume pipes

The RCC pipe (reinforced concrete cement pipes) is also referred to as the RCC Hume pipe since it has an Australian inventor Walter Reginald Hume. It has several applications and hence is widely used for purpose of sewage, stormwater drainage, as well as culverts.

There are many types of pipes available for various purposes.The concrete pipe which is often referred to as the precast concrete pipe.Spigot and socket ended pipes shall be used for water mains, sewer, irrigation and culverts/cross drains. Flush jointed (NP3 and NP4 class)  and collar jointed ( NP2 class ) pipes shall be used for culverts/cross drains only. There are many advantages of using these RCC pipes, they are strong, durable and are of good quality. The category of RCC Hume Pipes are NP2, NP3 & NP4 class.
